The Prepaid VEXCARD MasterCard is a real MasterCard on prepaid credit basis. This means that the balance is pre-funded on the card - worldwide wherever MasterCard is accepted. The balance will be always checked online during a payment process. To ensure this online check, the data is not embossed on the card. Thus, offline use of imprinter (outdated "Ritsch ratchet device ') is prevented.

What requirements must be met ?

How long do I have to wait for my card ?
Once the order is completed, the sending takes about 7-8 business days. There is also an express shipping available, so that you receive immediately your card number, expiry date and CVC code (see below) by email. The according card can be used instantly for online payments. The Express Shipping is only available for non-personalized cards. Thus, the card won't bear your name.

What is a CVC code (also called Security number)?
To prevent abuse, you have to enter in Internet shopping, not just your card number (along with name and expiration date), but also the CVC code. This has been generated for your card number at random, it can be identified, whether the card also fits into any control number. Only when these two numbers match, the payment is verified.
